Sherry Scheline

Justin and Amanda met during their first year at Santa Clara Law School.  Over the course of the first semester, Justin and Amanda met each other and became friends.  Justin always thought Amanda was out of his league and didn't think he had a chance with Miss Boise.  Amanda noticed that Justin might be boyfriend material while at a 49ers game but was seeing someone else at the time.

Justin and Amanda's first date finally worked out when a group of friend's cancelled on an outing right before finals studying and it turned into just Justin and Amanda.  The first date consisted of going out for drinks, singing along to songs on the radio, and Justin decided to take a little improptu road trip so the date night wouldn't have to end so soon.

Justin knew right away that Amanda was a keeper and wanted to make sure that he was part of all of Amanda's free time during finals.  Justin knew that Amanda wanted to study and focus on finals for two weeks, so Justin wasn't going to "ask her out" until after finals.  Until then, Justin took Amanda out on a study-break date (coffee, lunch, walk, or workout) and a night-time date every single day for two weeks.  Finally, Amanda finished her finals and JBAR (Justin Brown Amanda Richey) became official.

#JBARwedding was in the beautiful mountains of Idaho and held elements of rustic hometown fun to champagne elegance.  The event brought together two families both of which carry strong values and incredible character. These families gathered for a destination event on the shores of the beautiful Cascade Lake.

Thursday the festivities began with the arrival of guests to the chalets of Tamarack Resort.  The family gathered for rehearsal and a quiet intimate dinner.  Friday was full of fun and energetic excitement out on the lake. Boating, wake boarding, and a few even got in some fishing.  Back to Tamarack in the evening for a chuck wagon BBQ by the world famous Rod McGuire of Paradise Rose Chuckwagon.  Feasting on ribs, beans, and the most delicious dutch oven vegetables on the planet the guests partied into the late evening hours.

Saturday was full on excitement and beauty. The champagne began popping early as Amanda got ready.

As she walked up the steps to the chapel she was stunning; straight out of a fairytale.  Holding a gorgeous bouquet by Fallon of Flora. Amanda looked absolutely breathe-taking.   Justin and Amanda shared their I do's in a beautiful ceremony by Kim Kidwell.  After the romantic and touching ceremony the family and friends gathered on the lawn for lawn games and a whiskey and chocolate tasting.     Guests also indulged in his and her cocktails.

Then the champagne was flowing in the reception hall. POP click FIZZ champagne flowed as A Lively Chef served dinner to the 125 guests that set adoring amazing decor and a beautifully handcrafted back drop made by the bride's sister Adrien Richey.  The guests danced and drank into the night.

The bride and groom snuck out for a few brief quiet moments in the moonlight.  Where Nate Perkes and Golden Moments were able to capture the beauty of the night. Adoring the clear Idaho mountain skies.  They then treated themselves with a late night s'mores bar by A lively Chef.  Topping of the night with one last champagne toast.  POP click FIZZ  here's to JBAR!
